The idea behind Haravara is simple. You choose a location, go there, and check in using the app. At some locations, scanning a QR code may be part of the game, but the app always explains everything you need to know right on the spot. There are no complicated rules or difficult tasks. There’s only one thing that matters—getting out there and exploring.
And that’s precisely where the magic of the whole game lies. Places you may have walked past for years without noticing suddenly become destinations for your adventures. Lesser-known corners take on new meaning, and an ordinary outing gains a whole new dimension.
Every location visited yields a reward. Explorers collect stamps that help them progress through the levels. With each new level, they get closer to new rewards, treasures, and bonuses. The more places they discover, the further they’ll get.
In addition to stamps, players also collect Ducháty—a special currency for explorers. Each location has its own value, and some places yield more Ducháty than others. These Ducháty then determine a player’s position on the explorers’ leaderboard, which tracks who is discovering the most throughout the season. However, the leaderboard isn’t just about competition. Above all, it’s motivation to set out on another trip, discover a new place, and gather more experiences.
A major advantage of Haravara is that it’s rewarding for everyone to play. It doesn’t matter whether you start exploring from day one or join later. In addition to advancing through levels and collecting Duchats, players also participate in raffles for valuable prizes throughout the season. Every explorer has a chance to win.
